Phase 1:
During this phase, we develop a "Program" or "Scope of Work" which defines your spacial needs and visual preferences.
Design Solutions are prepared based on the Program and presented to you for comment and revision. Your responses (both positive and negative) during this phase of the design are critical to the overall success of the project, as it is through this dialog that we distill a variety of ideas down to those which you consider most important to you and the project. When you agree that the Design meets your criteria, then we can move into the next phase of design work.
Phase 2:
During this phase of the design work, I take your approved design solution and generate working drawings that will be used by the Contractor to bid and build your project. These drawings are usually in 24"x 36" format and are also used in obtaining a building permit for the project.
